Alex is responsible for modelling long-term battery revenues and for developing short-term battery optimisation algorithms. He worked as a researcher at Imperial College London to simulate the energy transition, PA Consulting to model optimal renewable co-location strategies and for an early-stage battery startup where he worked to understand possible BESS revenue streams. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from Newcastle University and an MEng in Electrical Engineering from University College London.
