Gerard’s primary focus is the procurement, construction and operation of Voltwise portfolio of assets. He also holds responsibility for the acquisition and development of UK and Ireland BESS assets. He has nearly 30 years of experience in the energy sector, including leadership roles in construction, asset operations, project development, mergers and acquisitions, commercial and trading. He has led teams in the development of more than 7GW of power generation assets and has managed UK electrical distribution infrastructure. Previous roles include an executive role at Sembcorp Industries, where he led the asset development team and helped acquire UK Power Reserve’s gas peaker and BESS asset portfolio. Gerard also sits on the Voltwise management team.
