Thorsten heads up the team in Germany and is responsible for the acquisition and development of German BESS assets. He joined from Smart Power GmbH, where he was chief sales officer and managing director. At Smart Power, he was instrumental in developing and constructing a 220MW portfolio of standalone storage assets across Germany, as well as expanding its relationships with international industrial and commercial counterparties. Over the last 26 years he has held various management roles in the energy and telecommunications industries, working at companies such as Landis+Gyr, Siemens and Nokia. Thorsten also sits on the Voltwise management team.
